Bridgewell Attends Salem State University Symposium on Bullying

IMG_9969 photo 4On Saturday, October 5, Bridgewell Self Advocates set up a table at Salem State University’s forum on bullying and abuse of power.

The forum entitled Taking Action Against Intimidation was held at the university at Veterans Hall: Ellison Campus Center.

The panel was moderated by R.D. Sahl and included the following organizations:

  • Anti-Defamation League: Salem No Place for Hate Committee
  • Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Youth (BAGLY)
  • Daughters of Abraham
  • Essex County District Attorney’s Victim Assistance Office
  • Healing Abuse, Working for Change (HAWC)
  • Social Psychology of Bullying
  • A Victim of a Hate Crime

The event was presented by Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, The Salem Award Foundation for Human Rights and Social Justice, Cummings Foundation, and Anti-Defamation League: Salem No Place for Hate Committee.
