DDS Statewide Family Support Conference

Bridgewell’s Director of Professional Development Kristen Janjar presented with her husband Rachid Janjar, at the annual DDS Statewide Family Support conference entitled “Making a Cultural Commitment: Bridging the Cultural and Linguistic Gaps” in September.

The workshop was called the “Fostering a Cross-Cultural Understanding: Family Experiences,” which included a panel of six families talking about their experiences with the US system, compared to where they came from/grew up. Families came from India, Vietnam, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Brazil and Morocco.
