On November 15th, Maple Street Day Habilitation program hosted a Universal Music Therapy Experience in collaboration with Roman Music Therapy. This event is the final performance of the eight week therapy session and includes singing solos, song writing, open mic/karaoke, a drum circle and a community sing.
Everyone enjoyed the weekly music therapy sessions which help develop self expression and communication skills, build community and increasing engagement, support successful integration into the community and promote health and well being.
The Universal Music Therapy Experience was the wonderful culmination of the therapy sessions and a fantastic collaboration with Roman Music Therapy.
