September 23, 2025: Update to the Bridgewell Community

At Bridgewell, we remain steadfast in our commitment to following proven scientific data and evidence-based practices as we provide care and support to the people we have the privilege of serving. The recent suggestion that common medications such as acetaminophen cause autism is not supported by credible scientific evidence and it risks spreading fear rather than fostering understanding.

Bridgewell will continue to work alongside experts, stay informed by the latest peer-reviewed research, and advocate for policies and practices grounded in science as we serve people with autism. Our focus will remain on improving quality of life, expanding access to care, and supporting individuals and families with compassion, dignity, and respect.
