Bridgewell’s Celebration of Community Family Day

A dreary, rainy day didn’t stop many members of our community from celebrating Bridgewell’s Family Fun Day on October 7 at our Headquarters! Close to 150 people in Bridgewell’s services, their family members, and Bridgewell staff came together for lunch and enjoyed music by DJ Bethany, games, crafts, a photo booth and more.

Delicious pizza was from Bridgewell’s Employment Partner, Captain Pizza in Middleton. The event was organized by Bridgewell’s Development & Marketing Department, Family Support Center, and Recreation Department.

“We could not have asked for a better turnout for Family Fun Day! It was truly a remarkable event and the energy inside was joyful and electric,” said Jessica Almeida, Vice President of Day Habilitation and Community Engagement. “Seeing so many people collaborate to make this special day happen for Bridgewell members and families made me feel incredibly proud to be a part of the Bridgewell team.”

Family Fun Day kicked off Bridgewell’s Celebration of Community events, a series of activities connecting participants from our programs with our partners and supporters in the communities we serve. This year, we’re also celebrating 65 years of serving our communities. Our Celebration of Community activities would not be possible without the support of our sponsors!

Thank you to sponsors Code 1 BBQ, GraVoc, Holden Filling Station, North Shore Bank, Old Neighborhood Foods, St Jean’s Credit Union and Wyoma Chapter Lions Clubs International, for supporting this month-long community celebration and our Bridgewell mission!
