Always in search of new classes, Bridgewell’s Recreation program hosted the I AM AN ARTIST Class. The apprentice artists chose what they wanted to paint, and the results were all different, and masterpieces ready for hanging! The class was lead by Assistant Program Director Dan Nadeau, who has a background in art, and his assistant was Bridgewell resident Bill.

Bill began painting about a year ago, and found he really enjoyed it.  This enjoyment expanded to sharing this with fellow housemates with painting sessions, to having his work featured at the “Art is Our World” show in Medford, MA and displayed at ArcWorks.  Bill takes great pleasure and pride in the fact that others have enjoyed his work, and in fact has sold several of his pieces!

We are so proud of Bill for sharing his new passion with all that attended.  Thanks to Dan who is a strong advocate of Bridgewell’s Recreation program and those who attend, and also supports individuals from his program with finding new and exciting things to do and places to go!  We are looking forward to planning another I AM AN ARTIST Class with the dynamic and colorful duo of Dan & Bill.
