Hello Bridgewell Parents & Guardians. I am Christopher Tuttle President & CEO and today is Monday, April 27.
Starting off this week, we have 39 staff and 11 people in our services who are currently positive with COVID-19. Mobile testing continues to take place and we are working with DDS to make sure all Bridgewell residences are tested.
We are still waiting to hear from the Baker administration and the Department of Public Health regarding the reopening status of the Commonwealth and Day Habilitation Programs. I hope to hear within the next couple of days and be able to share an update with you on Thursday’s call.
Day program curriculum is happening in Bridgewell residential homes and that will continue until the day programs reopen. For those of you whose loved one is living with you or in another provider’s home, we do want to stay in touch. Day program staff are reaching out to provide counsel, support and other helpful resources to help you and your loved one during this time. Please also feel free to reach out to your day program director at any time if you need support.
The next recording will be posted on Thursday, April 30 by noon. As always, be well and be safe.
