Bridgewell Counseling Services, with Janssen Pharmaceuticals, recently hosted an educational program entitled: “The Role of Atypical Antipsychotic Long-Acting Therapies in the Treatment of Schizophrenia and Maintenance Treatment of Bipolar I Disorder,” presented by Henry Nasrallah, MD.
Dr. Nasrallah is an internationally recognized psychiatrist, educator and researcher, and the Associate Dean and Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroscience at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Cincinnati, Ohio.
This program was the first of an on-going Distinguished Speaker Series hosted by Bridgewell, designed to highlight important and relevant topics of interest in mental heath treatment for the providers of the greater Lowell area.
In attendance were area mental health providers including representatives of the Department of Mental Health, Comfort Home Care In Home Nursing Services, Arbour Health Services among others.
