On Sunday March 1, the Bridgewell Bulldogs, Bridgewell’s Unified Player Development Basketball Team participated in the Special Olympics Massachusetts Winter Games State Tournament at the Fay School in Southborough.
The Bulldogs competed in the 22 year old + division playing against the Belmont SPORT Braves and the Hopkinton Pride. Each team played two games and the Bulldogs came out on top UNDEFEATED to take home the gold medal!
The games were close with Bridgewell earning the Ws with scores of 44-36 and 38-34. Special thank you to our unified partners, Michelle Anketell, Kim Eldred, Conor Janson, and Chris Tuttle, and to our coaches Colleen Coughlin, Nicole Doucette-Page and Kelli Hyland. Also, a very special thank you to our team cheerleader Bella Coughlin!
