Congressman Tierney Visits Bridgewell

Last month, Congressman John Tierney visited Bridgewell’s latest project in Lynn. He toured the construction zone with President of Bayview Realty of Lynn John Gilberg and Bridgewell’s Director of Housing Elaine White, President & CEO Bob Stearns and COO Kelly Johnson.

Bridgewell is working with JJ Welch Construction Company, Inc. to construct this new residence, which will be home to nine individuals.

We are very grateful to HUD for providing $1.5 million in funding, CEDAC/DACD for $537,000 as well as Mayor Kennedy and the City of Lynn for $50,000 in Home Funds in support of the project.

The Lewis Street residence is scheduled to be completed by August 2012.

Earlier this year, Congressman Tierney also visited Bridgewell’s Boston Street Day Habilitation Center (pictured right). He toured the facility with Director of Development & Advancement Cari Palmer, COO Kelly Johnson and President & CEO Bob Stearns.
