Chris Tuttle HeadshotI am pleased to inform you that the board of directors has unanimously voted to appoint Christopher Tuttle president and chief executive officer of Bridgewell. A leader in the field of social and human services, Chris has been effective and compassionate in his role as interim president and chief executive officer of Bridgewell over the last few months, demonstrating the qualities, skills and competencies needed to be successful as our next CEO.

The board is confident in Chris’s abilities and knows he will continue to build upon the strong foundation laid by former CEO Kelly J. Martin, whose hard work on behalf of the people we serve will continue to shape our future.

Chris’s experience includes years working for nonprofit organizations that focus on child welfare, particularly cases involving children who have experienced trauma. As Bridgewell’s CEO, Chris will continue to oversee and provide strategic direction for maintaining the quality of Bridgewell’s services. Key initiatives under Chris will include developing additional programming for 22-year-olds with autism who are assimilating into adulthood, expanding Bridgewell’s recovery and substance use disorder treatment services by recruiting more coaches for the agency’s recovery coach program and creating Bridgewell’s new family and persons served advisory committee.

Chris’s appointment is effective immediately. Thank you for your support during this time of transition.

Robin Sutherland
Chair, Board of Directors
