Hello Bridgewell Parents & Guardians. I am Christopher Tuttle, President & CEO, and today is Thursday, June 11.
As of this morning, we have 3 staff members and 5 people in our services who are currently positive with COVID-19.
I am very happy to share that on Saturday DDS announced that residential program visitations can now resume. On Monday we emailed the visitation guidelines and posted them on our website and FaceBook page. To arrange for a visit and to learn more, please contact your program director.
We are still awaiting word on the reopening of Day Programs but continue to plan for operating the programs once they can open. We don’t expect that our programs will operate like they had prior to closing. Last Friday we shared our initial protocols for when day programs reopen in an email and on our website. We will continue to keep you updated as our plans solidify.
Finally, on Wednesday, June 24 at 5pm, Bridgewell will be hosting its annual fundraising event virtually. Our Window Into Bridgewell Celebration event is free and open to the public. I hope you will join us to celebrate and support Bridgewell. Please spread the word to your family and friends, too. For more information, please visit the Window Into Bridgewell page at Bridgewell.org.
The next recording will be posted on Thursday, June 19 by noon. As always be well and be safe.
