Natasha David-Hays Named Clinic Director at Bridgewell Counseling Services in Amesbury

We’re pleased to announced the appointment of Natasha David-Hays to Clinic Director at Bridgewell Counseling Services in Amesbury.

“With over a decade of clinical practice in the North Shore, Natasha has a deep grasp of the behavioral health needs of children and adults in our community,” said Christopher Tuttle, Bridgewell President and CEO.  “Her passion and broad experience serving nonprofit health systems and promoting recovery will enable us to continue evolving our outpatient practice to meet the intensifying demand for mental health care.”

David-Hays, of Topsfield, will oversee the clinical and administrative functions of Bridgewell’s outpatient behavioral health clinic in Amesbury.  She will ensure the provision of quality treatment for children and adults, including developmental, psychiatric, and recovery services.  David-Hays will provide leadership oversight to clinical staff while supporting their growth and development.

David-Hays founded a private clinical practice in 2019 and served patients on the North Shore for six years.  Previously, she was Director of Substance Use Services at Salem Hospital, a member of Mass General Brigham, and managed a team of substance use disorder providers affiliated with the hospital.  As Clinical Director at Argus Community in New York City, David-Hays oversaw adolescent and adult outpatient substance use disorder facilities in the Bronx and Harlem.  She began her career as a Psychiatric Case Manager and an Addiction Counselor at what was previously the International Center for the Disabled, also in New York City.

David-Hays earned a bachelor’s degree in medical anthropology from Bard College, and she received a Master of Social Work degree from Hunter College – City University of New York.  She is also a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
