Media Contact
Bridgewell provides comprehensive treatment for children and adults challenged with psychiatric and developmental disabilities. Our services include outpatient treatment, medication management, counseling, education, evaluation and other support.
Outpatient Clinics
With clinics located on the North Shore and Merrimack Valley, Bridgewell provides comprehensive treatment in a setting that respects individual strengths and differences. Each clinic provides behavioral health treatment and has unique specializations including pediatric treatment, dual diagnosis of developmental and psychiatric disability as well as recovery services.
Community Partnerships
As an extension of our services, Bridgewell offers aid through its Employee Assistance Program and Community Care Partners programs, connecting people with the resources needed to assist with personal, work-related or health care issues.

Community Housing
Bridgewell provides a variety of residential services to support people with developmental and physical disabilities as well as those who are dually diagnosed with psychiatric disabilities.
Employment Support Services
Bridgewell has successfully been providing vocational opportunities to people with intellectual, developmental, psychiatric and physical disabilities. We are able to provide tools and the support needed to help people gain and stay employed.
Day Programs
Bridgewell’s Day Programs provide a variety of offerings for adults with intellectual, developmental, psychiatric and physical disabilities.
Service Enhancements
Bridgewell proudly works with Special Olympics Massachusetts, Massachusetts Advocates Standing Strong and other organizations to enhance the lives of people in our care by focusing on advocacy, human rights as well as health and wellness.
Autism Services
Bridgewell is a leader on the cutting-edge of autism services. We specialize in helping young adults that are transitioning from the educational system to adult services through day programs, community housing, outpatient treatment, education and employment training.

Bridgewell supports people with substance use disorders. Each person requires a different mix of services; outpatient treatment, community and recovery housing and job placement are just some of the ways Bridgewell can help. In addition to treatment and support, Bridgewell works with community partners to encourage prevention and substance use education.
Women’s Program, Johnson Street
Bridgewell’s Women’s Program, Johnson Street is a six-month, residential substance use disorder treatment program for specifically for women, which also includes pregnant and postpartum services.
Drug Diversion Program
Drug Diversion is an outpatient, voluntary and treatment-based program offered through all of the Massachusetts’ Essex County District Court for non-violent offenders of all ages.
Treatment
Bridgewell supports people with treatment programs at Bridgewell Counseling Services, Lynn and in the community.
Prevention & Education
Through prevention and education programs, Bridgewell works to promote health and wellness with the community.
Housing
Bridgewell works with those in our substance use disorder treatment programs to move into a sober, supportive and safe housing environment to continue their road of recovery through Bridgewell’s Affordable Housing programs.
Bridgewell serves people with life challenges experiencing homelessness. Housing programs include counseling focused on helping people begin the process of reentry into mainstream society.

Bridgewell provides safe, affordable housing options for very-low income people and families.
Pathfinder Residential Program
Located in Lowell, Pathfinder is a nationally recognized program that serves people experiencing homelessness who often have a psychiatric disability and other challenges.
Bridgewell helps people with extensive medical or behavioral challenges in addition to their other disabilities. We also deliver individualized support and develop programming as unmet or emerging needs evolve, such as early onset dementia as well as planned and emergency respite care.
Emergency & Planned Respite
Bridgewell’s Emergency and Planned Respite program is designed for people with intellectual, developmental, psychiatric and physical disabilities who are in need of crisis stabilization or who have arranged for a planned stay.
START Crisis Clinical Services
START (Systemic, Therapeutic, Assessment, Respite and Treatment) Crisis Clinical Support Services provides short-term crisis prevention, intervention and behavior support planning for people who are dually diagnosed with developmental and psychiatric disabilities.
Welcome to the Center for Professional Development (CPD), formerly the Center for Professional Innovation. We offer continuing education opportunities for professionals in the fields of education, counseling, healthcare, clinical support, addiction and recovery, to name a few. Our high-quality workshops are led by experienced and credentialed professionals and offer intermediate and advanced learning opportunities for licensed and unlicensed professionals, usually including CEU’s.
