Bridgewell’s UYC Interns Visit State House

Bridgewell has 16 Urban Youth Collaborative Program interns working in a variety of programs from day programs to residences. Through the Department of Developmental Services, UYC places young people from diverse backgrounds in residential, vocational and administrative settings to gain experience in human services. Earlier this month, a group of Bridgewell interns and employees attended the annual celebration for UYC and agency programs.

We had the opportunity to meet with longstanding UYC organizers as well as Sarah Peterson, Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services.
